Inside the Box

September Grimoire Magazine

The large grimoires are a lot more pleasant to read than the small, booklet types, but it is a lot of paper. I don’t have the time (or at least don’t prioritize it) to read through the entire grimoire every month. In fact, I rarely even glance at it anymore, especially since I’m always so far behind in my openings that none of the information is relevant. For example, it is November 22 at the time of writing, but this grimoire is from September.

Mabon Book of Shadows Pages

This sabbat’s book of shadows pages are all about Mabon. They include information on the old ways, the new ways, correspondences, divination, and a spell!

Mabon Bath Ritual

This bag contains not only bath salts, but also mabon oil, a floating candle, an incense cone, matches, and citrine. On the back of the label it also includes directions on how to do the ritual. Very helpful.

Mabon Citrus Punch Tea

This citrus punch tea includes dark oolong tea, orange peel, sunflower petals, and natural essences.

Mabon Spell Kit

This spell kit comes with two incense cones, a clear quartz crystal, a yellow chime candle, dried sunflower and basil, and an affirmation card. It also includes instructions on how to carry out the spell! Much appreciated.

White Sage and Strawflower Bundle

This smells like my paternal grandparents’ house. It’s a very pretty bundle, though I’m not a huge fan of the smell of sage.

This candle smells absolutely gorgeous. It’s both sweet and spicy with pansies and sodalite garnishing it.

Overall Impression

Overall it is another good box. I missed celebrating Mabon, but it’ll be interesting to learn about it when I get around to it. I really appreciate the kits. Both the spell kit and ritual kit come with instructions and everything you need. This is the ideal for me.
