I ended up with two boxes from Tea Runners this month because I switched over from the American site to the Canadian site. I’m still in the process of getting a refund* for the remaining 5 boxes from the US site, but the customer service so far has been great. As part of this order I decided to take advantage of their August promotion of 15% off teaware and get a loose leaf teapot as well as their single-serving teapot. We didn’t have a lot of options for steeping loose leaf teas at home, so it was worth the investment. We’ve used both and so far they’ve been great!
Unfortunately the Canadian referral program is not up and running, but if you’re on the US site, you can get $20 every time someone uses your code.
*I’ve now been refunded! Charlie is honestly the best.

Inside the Box
Because I already got a box of the pre-chosen teas for August, I decided to fully customize this box. Despite being a drinker of mostly black teas, I only picked one black tea (Black Rose) as an add-on. It ended up being out of stock, so should be added to next month’s order. The Apple Pie Chai is, perhaps surprisingly, not a black tea. In this box I got:
- Apple Pie Chai
- Yogi’s Tonic
- Cape Town Herbal Sunrise
- Lavenderberry
Black Rose– $5 add on out of stock
