Inside the Box
I actually already read this book back in January for my book club, so this will go straight to someone who hasn’t read it yet. Why did I buy this box if I’d already read the book? It’s because I really liked the theming of this box, and having read the book, I was familiar with why it included the items that it did. This box is very unique compared to the other ones.

What would Sweet Reads do without Walton Wood Farm? They have some sort of love affair. Maybe the boxes should be called Walton Wood Reads. Anyway, these shortbread cookies are very cute, and I love how closely the box is themed with the book. From the name (The Regency Grand Hotel is the place where the protagonist works), to the quotes on it, it takes me back to the world of Molly the maid. It doesn’t hurt that they taste pretty good too.

I’m a pretty big tea drinker, so I am much looking forward to trying this “Nan-approved” English Breakfast tea, even if I’m more of an Earl Grey girl myself.
*Update* This is a pretty smooth English Breakfast and I’m finding that I’m quite enjoying it. It really does pair great with the shortbread biscuits. Yum!

You absolutely cannot go wrong with Lindor chocolates. It’s just a shame there’s only two.

On the chocolate theme, but much more disappointing, is this puzzle of chocolates. Don’t get me wrong: I love puzzles, but if you’re going to give me a chocolate puzzle, I either want it to be A) a puzzle made of chocolate, or B) a puzzle accompanied by the chocolates it represents. I’ll be giving this to my young niece who has a passion for puzzles.

Here we have a multipurpose cleaner from where else but Walton Wood Farm. It has a pretty pleasant scent of vanilla and citrus and can also be used for freshening clothes and shoes.
It’s cute that it’s branded, but it makes it not useful. The black side cannot be used! I’m more practical. The red side might make sense if we cut off the bottom. Hmm…
Two useful items that are very much in line with the book’s theme. This pen writes quite smoothly, which impresses me because not all promotional-style pens are very good.
Overall Impression
This is my favourite box of the four I got from Sweet Reads because it was very thematic. I also happen to like the items, especially the cookies, tea, chocolate, and cleaner. The pen and paper pad will definitely come in handy as they get used a lot in this house. If you like this box, as of September 10, 2022 it is still available here for $40.
