I was very confused when my package arrived and I saw two boxes again. I had various theories about why this would be the case, but when I opened the box and saw Tammy’s card welcoming me to the subscription I knew it was a mistake. I e-mailed her about it and she said I could keep the box, so that was very nice of her.
Inside the Clove Pink Mystery Box

I have Northern Sage Bathorium bath salts from the Maple bundles that I got in the summer. I really quite like them and I am excited to try this. The scent is really great, and kind of leans more toward the coconut side than the vanilla, but now I’m stoked to have a bath. Yay that it’s finally fall!
Bathorium is based in our nation’s capital, Ottawa. You can buy this online for $22.

I first tried this on my lips, and I’m really not quite sure how I feel about it. It’s a bit grainy, and as long as I don’t lick it off, it should keep my lips moist. I then tried it on my cuticle, but it really just made my finger greasy and didn’t do much to soften the cuticle. I can’t see needing to put it under my eyes, and the thickness of it makes me hesitant to do so, but it’s got rave reviews on their website. The company is based somewhere in Canada and the about page has some comedic spelling mistakes.
This lip & eye treatment retails for $29 online.

This is my second one of these. It really is a lovely fragrance and does invite a sense of calm.

I love lip balms, and I think this is one of the better ones. It’s 100% natural and made in Alberta. I always enjoy reading a label and knowing what each of the ingredients are. The vanilla and mint is a surprisingly good mix, and the ingredients don’t seem to give me the slight allergic reaction that others do. I would be happy to have a stack of these in my drawer.
You can buy different flavoured lip balms on Facebook for $5, but this flavour appears to be unavailable.

Okay. We tried the fruit infusion flavour yesterday. I’m not sure what I was expecting since there is no sweetener in it and I hate sparkling water, but it’s disgusting. It tastes fermented. I absolutely love the idea of this, but it’s really gross. Tony said it tasted better when he imagine it was alcohol, because you often don’t expect alcohol to taste good. I’m hoping the hibiscus cinnamon is better, but there’s not much hope.
They don’t sell these directly online, but you can find your nearest store here.
Overall Impression
For a free box, I definitely can’t complain. I’m a bit disappointed with the Tisane tasting so horrible, but then again I don’t like the ever popular Bublys. I am very happy with the milk bath and the lip balm, and an extra roll-on can’t go wrong. The value of this mystery box far exceeds that of the actual bi-monthly box, which I’m a bit confused about, but I still recommend the box.
