Inside the Box
They’ve valued this 14-page booklet at $8. Now that I’ve limited my time working in film/tv, my waking hours have improved an incredible amount. Amazing what having a schedule that isn’t all over the place can do for your health… haha! Anyway, I don’t need this booklet.
I do think it’s interesting that in the better sleep checklist one of the suggestions is: “My thermostat is set between 15.5°C and 19.5°C while I sleep.” Omg no!! I turn the heat down to 19 at night to save on the heat bill, but it’s freezing. I need extra blankets and a dog or boyfriend to warm me up. I know some people sleep better when it’s cool, but not all of us. How is this a blanket (haha!) recommendation? I slept amazingly bundled up in Cancun with the room at 27°C. I refused to let my ex husband turn the a/c on because I was “too cold”.
I just glanced at the booklet, and as someone who suffered from insomnia as a teen, the suggestions seem to have come from a 90s magazine. I never like these booklets. I hope other people do, so they’re not a waste of the staff at Loti’s time.

I’ve tried two days in a row now, and Jubel Naturals’ website just doesn’t seem to be working well. If I go anywhere beyond the home page it remains perpetually loading.
I can’t even say too much about this product because it was the bonus item this month, so isn’t included in the breakdown, but you can buy it off Loti’s site for $24.99. I guess you can read the information there.
The smell is truly gorgeous. It’s like walking into an upscale spa and makes me want a massage with the pretty music and a fountain gurgling nearby.
It is quite greasy, being an oil, and my skin soaked it up easily though didn’t leave it smooth like a lotion usually does. I think this would be a lovely addition for a bath if it keeps its scent, but for a body oil I still prefer my cardamom and cypress body oil from By The Sea Apothecary that came in my Maple Bundle this past summer.

The smell of this is incredible. I don’t really drink coffee, but I love coffee-flavoured things, and apparently also coffee-smelling things. Mix that with a bit of coconut and oh la la! It kind of looks edible, and I want to eat it. This is basically a sugar scrub, so I probably could eat it.
Ok, so I tried it. It tastes pretty decent. I don’t recommend eating it though. The ingredients are brown sugar, coffee, shea butter, coconut oil, and essential oils. That’s it! I love products that are good and simple. It will cost you $20USD on their site.

I also got one of these in my Fall Maple Box, which was actually manufactured the day before the Loti one. They both offer a 20% discount on the lid for each company. I don’t really like that refrigeration is required because there are 3 adults living in this house and fridge space can be hard to come by. You can buy an 8oz container for $39.95 or this 4oz for $24.95.

Is this a British company? Is it a Chinese company? It’s made in PRC, but the prices online are in pounds, and this one costs £5.99. I have never heard of a warming steam eye mask before, so I’m curious to try this out. I do like the design on the packaging.

Loti has this listed as having a value of $15, but Genuine’s website has it listed for $10 for the same size bag. If you follow my YouTube channel or my blog, you’ll know I drink a fair amount of tea. We got a Valerian Dream tea from Tea Runners back in August, so it will be interesting to see how it compares.

Clear My Head is an American company from Dayton, Ohio. Tony happens to be a bit ill right now, so he’s happy to be able to use it to help clear his sinuses. One can only use this up to 4x each day. Tony has tried it once and is off to bed now, so hopefully it helps him sleep well overnight. He finds the smell (what he can smell of it) quite pleasant, and I’m inclined to agree.
Overall Impression
Compared to the rest of the Loti boxes, I’m pleased. This is the best box so far, but the items aren’t interesting enough to convince me to continue the subscription when my year is up. The best item this month is the bath oil and that was a bonus item that I pay extra for. That being said, besides the booklet, I will be using every item from this month’s box.
