Woof Pack – November 2022 + Bonus Box

I’m actually excited about Woof Pack. I had been looking for a Canadian subscription box for dogs, and the only ones that showed up were: Fetch Co and Precious Coco. The latter of which no longer exists. Now I’m seeing even more, like Woof Crate, which I’ll have to get my paws on eventually.

One thing I don’t like about Woof Pack is that they require you to enter your e-mail address before you’re able to see the prices for the subscriptions unless you go to the FAQ. I haven’t found this to be a common practice. I prefer companies to be upfront about their prices.

Inside the Box

*Woof Plays is Woof Pack’s line of toys*

Woof Plays Score Keeper

An immediate hit, especially with Maila, but the squeaker broke right away. It hasn’t been torn apart yet but there is no longer any squeak.

Woof Plays Woof Lite

This toy is crinkly with a squeaker inside. The squeaker still works, and has been the top choice for Canek so far. At the time of writing it is on sale for $10.39.

Woof Plays Dog Pong

The balls don’t stay inside, but they’re pretty cute. The cup is crinkly and the balls each have a squeaker inside. The balls are a little small for large dog mouths, and if I didn’t know my dogs, I might be concerned about choking. At the time of writing, this toy set is on sale for $12.79.

Zippy Paws Zippytuff Ropetugz

The monkey part of this squeaks, which was a surprise. This is probably Canek’s second favourite toy.

Woof Plays Bag O’ Fun

All the dogs like this crinkly bag o’ dice. The dice did not stay in. I was hoping it would be more of thing for the dogs to get the dice out, but they just fall out. The bag o’ dice, minus the dice is a favourite for all 3 dogs.

*Update* Maila has been packing this around a lot, and even fell asleep with it in her mouth.

Woof Pack Treats

The salmon and pork bites were the drool-worthy favourites for the pups. Jurassic bites was the least exciting, but still eaten. Maila was hesitant when she took the treat, but at least she didn’t spit it out.

The salmon bites are 100% salmon. The power bites are 100% pork liver. The Jurassic bites are oat flour, rye flour, beef liver, bananas, and olive oil. All three of those packs are made by Yappetizers, which is a company based in Richmond, BC.

The Pizza Party is a vegetarian mix made from barley flour, cheese, basil, and olive oil. They are manufactured by Inova Source Inc for Lifestyle Dog Treats and Woof Pack.

At the time of writing, all treats are on sale for $8/pack.

Jakers Bones

I’ve only got 2 bones, so it’s a bit awkward with 3 dogs. I haven’t given them out yet. The pups were definitely interested, though how could they not be?

Overall Impression

All 3 of my dogs were delighted with this box. All the toys were a hit, especially the crinkly ones. The quality of the toys isn’t great, but they’re very cute and I appreciate the theming. This double box was definitely worth the money spent, but I’m not sure if I’ll keep feeling that way once the regular boxes start coming with half the product.

Some happy puppies and a happy Tony, too.
