Inside the Box
All the toys this month are from Woof Plays, which is Woof Pack’s own line of toys.
This gingerbread man is crinkly everywhere except for his left leg and contains two squeakers. One in his head and one in his belly. The bowtie looks like it will come off easily, so for dogs that are prone to choking on things, it might not be a good idea.
Coco has claimed this one.
*Update* The head squeaker is already broken.
This cup of hot cocoa is a decent sized toy. It’s got a handle that will likely get ripped off quickly. The “whipped cream” is crinkly, and the mug contains a squeaker. This was the bonus toy in this month’s box. Get your own from their site, currently on sale for $11.99.
Canek has decided this is his toy.
*Update* The handle got ripped off within 10 minutes.
Another container with a “ball”. The candy has a squeaker and its container is crinkly. I’ve really noticed lately how much the dogs like crinkly toys. Obviously the ones that squeak are a big hit, but they love the sound of the crinkling as well.
Maila is happy to have this one, though she tore out the stuffing almost immediately.

These treats seem to be pretty decent when it comes to ingredients: apple puree, barley flour, coconut oil, and seasoning (ginger, cinnamon, carob). They smell so good, I’d like to eat one. I won’t. Too expensive.
Ok I checked the price. Not too expensive! You can buy online for only $4.99.
The pups all enjoyed them, but only Maila stuck around to wait for another one.
I do like limited ingredient treats, and a single ingredient treat is great too! These are dehydrated lamb liver bites, no other ingredients.
The packaging is deceitful and the tear line is not in a spot that makes the treats accessible. I had to use scissors with these.
You really can’t go wrong with liver treats, although Canek immediately ran off with the gingerbread man and only the girls stayed to see if they’d get another one. What more can you expect from a border collie? He came right back as soon as I opened the bag though. Work is more important than food.

So because Coco stole one of the bones last month, I’m back down to 2 bones, so I’ll have to wait until January to give everyone a bone. These things really stink and I don’t want them to be eaten inside. The weather has also been terrible lately. Over a foot of snow, and now a ton of rain. Not ideal for long-haired dogs, so their outside time is limited. Not good for eating stinky bones.
Overall Impression
For durability of the toys, I don’t get my dollar’s worth with this box. They get destroyed very easily. Entertainment value, however, is high. Both for my own amusement with the theming of the boxes, and also for the dogs. All the dogs love these toys, and like children, they get bored of toys easily. So even if they get destroyed fairly quickly, for those moments they are still (mostly) intact, the dogs are having a good time, and that’s most important to me.
