Woof Pack – January 2023

I was surprised at how late this box arrived, but it was a similar case with many of the boxes this month. I blame the holiday season for shifting everything by a week or two. My Woof Pack didn’t arrive until January 27. It ends up being okay because it spaces out my “work”.

Inside the Box

All the toys this month are from Woof Plays, which is Woof Pack’s line of toys.

Sticky Paw Doughnuts

These doughnuts on a rope each have a squeaker. The toy is a bit small for large dogs like mine, but they still love it. What a funny face on the doughnuts.

Maila destroyed one of the doughnuts within a few minutes of stealing the toy from Canek.

Blueberry Pancakes

This blueberry pancakes toy is made of rubber and has a squeaker in it. The dogs are delighted. I expect this one to outlast the plush toys.

Maple Syrup

This plush maple syrup toy is this month’s bonus toy. It also has a squeaker in it.

Salmon & Herring

I don’t know why they called this “maple syrup bites” when there is absolutely no maple syrup involved in these treats. The fact that there is no sugar in them is great, but the label is misleading. Also it kind of makes me hungry for pancakes.

Duck with Baked Honey & Apple

This is an interesting treat that mixes duck, honey and apple into nice little cubes.

Jakers Beef Rib Bone

With the addition of this bone, I had 3 available, so was able to give one to each pup. All 3 were from Jakers, which are the bones that come in Woof Pack. The dogs are delighted and did not want to stop chewing them even hours later.

Overall Impression

I love getting three toys so that I can give one to each of my pups. My dogs like novelty at least as much as I do and really appreciate getting new toys. The theme of this month is pretty cute and brings me back to the 5 weeks I lived in Quebec City for the Explore program. If you are a student in Canada, I highly recommend doing this program. It’s a great way to travel and learn or improve your French (or English!).
