Woof Crate – February 2023

The bows were the cutest thing I think I’ve ever received. All the dogs looked adorable with them on. I never thought I’d become that person who likes to dress up their dogs.

Inside the Box

**As always, the chews were given to the dogs immediately upon opening and were thus promptly consumed and no photos were taken.**

Valentine’s Bow Tie

Seriously too cute.

Salty Dogs Barkery Heart Beets

These honestly sound delicious for me to eat. They’re made of oats, strawberry, beets, coconut oil, flax seeds, and cinnamon. What’s not to like?

So I tried one. They’re good. A touch of sugar and I’d eat the whole pack, but I’ve got Coco’s head on my lap and Canek drooling beside me, so I suppose I’ll give them what’s theirs.

The heart shapes are really adorable and the dogs enjoyed the feasting. They’re also really easy to break pieces off of, which is nice for doing tricks or training.

Mes Biscuits Maison Apple & Chamomile Treats

Contains apple puree, barley flour, chamomile powder, and carob powder.

So, according to the ASPCA, and many other sources, chamomile is toxic to dogs. I knew it was toxic to horses, so it made me a bit suspicious. Other sources, such as VCA Animal Hospitals mentions its usefulness in certain applications.

I’m a bit nervous giving this to my dogs, but the side effects don’t seem too serious for short-term use. If they have any bad reactions, I will report back.

FouFit Plush Rose

No way this will last very long. It’s pretty thin and flimsy. The rose itself has a squeaker and the petals near the top are crinkly. I give it 30 minutes max. It’s fun and gives Beauty and the Beast vibes.

I didn’t even think of getting pictures of it in a dog’s mouth until I threw it to Maila to enjoy. Opportunity wasted.

Woofy Dawgman Toy

One side of this “Dawgman” is crinkly, and you can find the mix tape inside.

Woofy 80s Mix Tape Toy

This mix tape has a squeaker inside.

Coco with February’s Woof Crate

Coco is the best at having her photo taken, even if she often looks like a derp.

Overall Impression

What a fun box this month. I got 3 bows, 3 chews, and in a way, 3 toys as well. This is perfect for my 3 dogs.

I am nervous about the chamomile treats, but the heart beets from Salty Dogs Barkery are really awesome.
