Inside the Box

A unique combo with no cherry in the ingredients. Maybe it’s part of the natural essences? I tend to not like cherry-flavoured things, so we’ll see how this is.

I think this is supposed to be this month’s “surprise”. It sure is a big surprise to have another tea XD.

Zeylan is a company from Toronto that focuses on tea made without “agrochemicals, pesticides, or synthetics”.

I love Earl Grey tea and am excited to try a new one! This box contained 6 tea bags.

This tea has made everything yellow. The turmeric has not stayed inside the bags. It smells a bit spicy, kind of like a ginger tea. I’m looking forward to eventually trying it, but will do so with care to not stain anything!

They included 7 tea bags in this box.

Higher Living have been blending teas for over 20 years and are based in rural Sussex, UK.

*Update* I enjoyed this tea so much more than I thought I would. It wasn’t too spicy and much smoother than I expected. I downed the whole cup fairly quickly. I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I didn’t know what Aronia was, so I looked it up and it is the same as “chokeberry”. I still don’t really know what it is and there are conflicting benefit analyses that I found during a quick search. I am very curious to try it. They included 7 tea bags in this box.

Pilki is a Canadian company based in Montreal and has recently changed their name to Floèm.

I normally really enjoy these, but maybe I just wasn’t in the mood. It wasn’t bad, but not as delicious as I had been expecting. Once again I feel bad for not sharing it with Tony, but he’s not here at the moment.

Overall Impression

I have so much tea in the cupboard that I’m getting less and less thrilled every time I see tea. I thought I drank a lot of tea, but turns out I only drink a lot of earl grey. It’s a bit overwhelming right now, and guests also get quite overwhelmed. I basically need to catalogue it all now.
