Why oh why would I add another dog subscription? It’s more fun than spoiling children! Not that I have children, but I imagine it would be more fun, because a dog’s excitement is consistent.
They do need to fix their website though. Trying to go to their shop is not a good time.

Inside the Box

Game Night. They’re a little late to the party with this theme unfortunately. Woof Pack even has a controller toy that is almost identical. When adding yourself to the market, you’ve got to come up with something unique, and I think that’s where they’re trying to go with the toys being focused on enrichment.

Compared to Woof Pack, this toy does seem a bit tougher. The description says that it is dual layered. Time will tell how long it actually lasts. I do like that it is an enrichment toy. With my dogs there is a fine line between happy to try to get a treat out and “it’s not worth the effort”. Freeze-dried liver treats are a good motivator, but it’s a disaster if they get wet, which they absolutely will with all the licking.
This toy also has a squeaker inside.
This toy isn’t described on the content card, but from my brief research, it appears to be made of natural rubber. It is a stinky toy, and kind of smells like a tire. I wonder how easy it will be for the dogs to get the treats out of this one.
It’s actually a pretty good size for my 60lb dogs.
This is a cute bow tie with a velcro attachment that is long enough to wrap around the average collar. This is the first accessory we’ve gotten from any of the boxes that attaches to a collar, which is kind of nice. I’m not sure if it will fall off more easily, or if it will stay on. Time will tell!

I got a lick mat in a silent auction bundle that I won a few years ago. I found that my dogs aren’t really interested in them. Once I have three, I will try freezing some goodies in them and use them as treats to help cool them down this summer. That might be something they would enjoy.
If you want to learn more about lick mats, or want some recipe ideas, DuraPaw has a post that does just that.

Not the first time we’ve had these, and at no point will the dogs be upset about having them. Always happy to support Canadian businesses.
Overall Impression
I signed up for 3 months to get an idea of what this company is like. I wasn’t pulled in by the cheaper prices like I was with Woof Pack and Woof Crate. I couldn’t do just one as I don’t think it’s always possible to tell how a subscription box is going to be with only one box. I need a few boxes to get a better idea of what to really expect. As the company is barely a year old, I’m sure there will be growing pains. The one thing I do wish was that there were more treats involved. One 85g bag is just not enough. I go through treats much faster than the toys. I would also like to see more thought put into the themes. Not the general theme, but, for example, if you’re going to include a lick mat, also include something that they can lick off the mat. If you’re going to include an enrichment toy, include treats that will fit into the toy. Make it easy for people to use the products as intended.
