Here we are in June with another two great boxes. I am realizing now that in this case, prepaying for the entire year up front was a very good thing as the prices have gone up significantly. The Witch & Ohm boxes are $45 each with a digital grimoire. Surprisingly, it’s $95 if you get the Witch & Ohm combo box with a digital grimoire. That’s almost $20 more than what it was last summer with a grimoire. You still get your thirteenth month free though!

Inside the Box
I’ve been caught up on the digital grimoires and May’s courses, but sadly I still don’t have June’s courses. These are always full of information, and this month’s is particularly thick. As you can see, it refused to lay flat for the photo.

This month’s theme is money magick. Over here, June is a month of abundance. It is notoriously rainy, so the plants get a good watering before the dry months hit. It’s also cold, so we nickname it Junuary as it is basically January, but in June.
This month’s witch box contains 5 items:
- Abundance Bowl with altar cloth and crystals
- Candle
- Perfume
- Incense

It’s nice to have all the things I need for whatever it is I need them for. As I don’t have June’s course yet I don’t know what it is I’m supposed to do with them. I’ve ordered the Witch Class box to try to rectify this, but it has not yet arrived.
In any case, it is a nice collection of items. I particularly like the bowl as I think I will be able to burn the loose incense in it. Upon further research, I have learned that this is not possible.

This is a very citrusy-smelling candle with some marigold, green aventurine, and pyrite.
This is another quality perfume made with jojoba oil, patchouli, cedarwood, cinnamon leaf, vetiver, and sandalwood.
One thing I have noticed with these perfumes, is that the scent doesn’t last very long, so it is necessary to reapply.
This incense blend smells absolutely lovely. I still don’t know how to use this, but maybe I can use it as a type of potpourri? I grew up with potpourri, but I never see it used anymore. Bring it back!

The theme for this month’s Ohm box is, if you couldn’t tell, working with the moon!
This month’s Ohm box contains 5 items:
- Book
- Candle
- Bath Salts
- Tea
- Incense

Another book! This one is by Japan’s leading astrologer, so that will be different! I am already quite happy, but it wouldn’t be such a bad thing to find the favour of the universe.
I just bought a pile of books from Indigo. My TBR on the dresser is now 4 stacks high with 44 books. That doesn’t include the two bookshelves, or the mountains of books on the headrest of my bed (it’s a shelving unit). If only I could read faster.
This looks like a pretty easy read. The font is large and there is lots of white space on the pages.

I absolutely love the smell of this candle. It’s sweet with just a hint of sharpness. It is adorned with lotus and a moon stone.

I love Spiral Rain’s bath salts. I just wish they’d come in a smaller bag that reflects the actual quantity. Also, often the ingredients list a stone, but I haven’t been finding them lately. It’s not a big deal to me, but it never feels good to be shorted something that you were supposed to receive.
Jasmine green tea for the moon. I don’t know what makes this moon tea, but there you have it.
I had no idea that Japanese incense was in its own category. I found a website explaining some differences. Absolutely fascinating. This Japanese incense does not contain bamboo and is apparently more subtle than Indian incense.
Overall Impression
I think these two boxes were quite good and interesting. I have a mountain of candles, and bath salts, and tea, and I love it. I’m slowly figuring out what to do with my rocks. I really need to do an overhaul of the house and Marie Kondo it.
