Tanit Dishwaser Detergent Tablets
I was interested to see that Tanit had branched out from their beauty line to include household products as well. I liked that these tabs come in biodegradable bags, but they’re still quite pricey for what they are. I usually buy the Envirowise tablets, which are 80 for $18 compared to 35 for $16. They don’t work perfectly, but at least they fully dissolve.

Overall Impression
I really cannot recommend these dishwasher tablets. Since starting to use them, my dishwasher sometimes floods, and I’ve found that the majority of the tabs don’t even fully dissolve. I have wood floors, so the dishwasher leaking is devastating for the floor. The boards have warped and I’m stuck with a towel under the dishwasher until I’m finished this useless pack and move on to my regular brand. When I’ve opened the dishwasher mid-cycle there is an overwhelming abundance of bubbles, which I’d never experienced before.
I made a story on Instagram showing the issues with the tablets and the company liked it, but didn’t say anything about their non-dissolving tablets.

Tanit finally responded to my story to apologize and to say they’re working on it. They also asked for my order number to add me to the list so they can reach out to me “once the improved version is ready to be sold”. Not sure if they are offering a replacement or want me to try my luck by purchasing another bag with the new recipe.
