This is the last box in my original subscription. I’m going to give them another 3 months before cancelling. It’s not because it’s a bad box, but because I have a whole corner of unused dog toys at this point on top of the pile that’s currently in circulation. I won’t need to buy anything for years. Also I need to start saving money. I looked at this venture as a sort of investment in my writing, but it hasn’t worked out that way.

Inside the Box

Cute.
These Buzzin’ Bites are made from freeze-dried bison liver.
I had this bag in my hand, and whether on purpose or not, Coco happened to press the “treat” button on my Fluent Pet, so I gave them all one of these treats. They were a hit. Now they seem to all be taking a turn walking across the mat, just hoping I’ll give them a treat. Lucky dogs.
I had never heard of Cronch before. These treats are made from oat flour, peanut butter, banana, pumpkin, blueberry, apple, and ascorbic acid. They must be consumed within 14 days of opening and expire on September 24.

This rope toy seems to be pretty good quality, and possibly made of cotton threads, though it doesn’t actually say. Blue and yellow are colours that dogs can actually see, so two of the three are great for the pups.

I don’t think I would pay $20 for this, but it sure is cute. The head is crinkly and you can theoretically hide treats in the wings and in the bee’s yellow stripes.
I just read the description online. It’s to encourage slow eating for kibble-eating dogs. The tag says it’s for treats though.
The back of the bee is grippy to help it to not slide around on the ground. I’m pretty sure my dogs would just pick it up. Time (distant future) will tell.

Do people really spend this much on dog toys? Anyway, it’s good to fill and freeze for a nice summer teat.

This is really cute, but it’s huge! It says it’s a size large, but on the smallest setting, it doesn’t fit Canek, and is loose on Coco. The only person I know with a dog big enough for this collar moved to Alberta.
Overall Impression
It’s a cute box, and I’m impressed that we got three toys, two bags of treats, and an accessory. That’s 6 items total, compared to the usual 5. I’m looking forward to the next three months, but I’m not kidding when I say I’m overwhelmed with dog toys right now.
