Note

A sweet note from Tony. I think his expectations are a little high.

I don’t really understand this journal, but I’ll fill it out. It gets you to write about yourself growing up, and then eventually turns to you as a mother. It’s an interesting way of putting something together. I still don’t understand the point, but it’s a nicely made journal.

Robyn Liechti is a self-published author based in Ontario. This explains a lot.

Vomit Bags

Thankfully, despite having nausea basically 24/7 for most of the first 13 weeks, I never had to vomit in public. Part of this might be due to the fact that I didn’t go out in public a lot. Having heard of someone vomiting into their friend’s bag recently I think this is a very good inclusion for the Preggo Box.

Socks

Cute socks. I’m glad the writing is at the bottom as I think it’s a bit silly. The socks don’t appear to be well made as there are loose threads everywhere, and they’re also not the nicest material. The writing is stuck on as opposed to being part of the sock, so I imagine it won’t last very long.

Tea for pregnancy! Huzzah! I will make myself a cup tonight. My nausea has been real, even though I’m well into the second trimester now.

Tea Strainer

I love practical things. If you’re sending loose leaf tea, you can’t assume they have a way to strain it. This is perfect and probably the best tea strainer we now own.

The magnesium spray is touted to be a muscle relaxant, promote relaxation, and reduce anxiety. Being pregnant sure can be anxious business.

For tension and headache relief, and also for making hair greasy.

Overall Impression

I think this is overall a good box, and much more practical than the Bump to Mom box.
