Inside the Box
This cute card was addressed to us on the envelope, but not on the actual card.
I don’t think Maila has ever had a hot spot, but Coco definitely has. She is allergic to fleas, and when we had an outbreak a couple years ago she really suffered with infections from the flea bites, which led to incessant licking. Thankfully we haven’t had that problem since.
These booklets contain very basic information that could be contained on one page. Though these booklets look nice, they could easily be combined onto one page. Perhaps even a high-quality sheet to collect in a binder for pet health?
This spiky snowman squeaker ball has a pretty fun squeak to it. Once the fabric has been removed, it will live on as an excellent ball to accompany the other spiky squeaker toy that Coco currently loves. This toy was made in China.
These antler-shaped chews have mixed reviews. Some dogs love them, other dogs got sick from them. One ended up with a $1,000 vet bill, and another almost got it stuck in its mouth. All my dogs took the chews happily without issue, but we’ll see how long they last. The answer: not very long.
This chicken is from Kentucky and contains sugar as the second ingredient. It also has joint health-supporting ingredients such as glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. I’m always happy to have something that will support my active dogs’ joints.
This mousse does not require rinsing and is supposed to help with itchiness. The inconsistent use of the pads from the June 2023 box has not seemed to help Maila’s itchy chin, so I’m curious to know if this will be any better. Results are to be seen in 7-21 days. It wants me to use 10-20 pumps on the problem spot 3x a week. At that rate will it even last a week? We shall see.
This product has the same, pleasant smell as the pads.

Maila loves gingerbread men. This one has two squeakers in it: one in the head and one in the body. It was made in China.
Mak’s Patch is a UK company that specializes in vegan dog snacks. These treats are very small, and would be great for training either on their own or split in half. My dogs aren’t picky and ate these up quite nicely.
This was a nice addition to the box, though I wish the brand name wasn’t on it. I think the logo is enough and the branding takes away from the pattern.
Overall Impression
I liked this box overall, but that doesn’t change the fact that it is still expensive and I still don’t feel as though I’m getting my money’s worth. The dashboard is still the best that I’ve seen of any box, and the store is pretty cool too.
