Inside the Box

I love using an eye mask. This will be my fourth, and that is great. I’m less picky about the branding on this (though I would prefer without), because I will never be using this in public.
The description says it’s silk, but having used it for a few nights now, and having done the burn test, I don’t think it’s real silk.
Made by K & A was started by two sisters in Smoky Lake, Alberta.

I used this sleep mask for many months, but I finally threw it out today. It started to pill, and the last time I used it, some of the threads went into my eye and I was trying to fish them out in the middle of the night with minimal success. They came out eventually, but I didn’t trust it to not hurt my eye again so into the garbage it went. I think it had a pretty good run overall.

I have so many roll ons, and I basically never use them. I don’t like that they’re greasy and I don’t find them to be particularly effective. I do like how they smell, though. This one is to encourage calm and a restful sleep and is applied to the chest.
A Healthy Beginning is from Vancouver, BC.

Again more tea, and yet another strainer. That makes 3! I have found that the holes in the strainer are quite big for a lot of the teas that we have, so we end up with small particles in our cups of tea. Spearmint tea is great at this stage in pregnancy because everything seems to give me heartburn, especially when I lie down.
Acquired Taste is based in Edmonton, Alberta.
I use so much lotion, especially in the winter, so this is great to have.
Essentials by Nature is from Edmonton, Alberta.

This will likely be useful as I get more and more uncomfortable and will need something to warm my poor muscles.
This product is not currently offered on their website as they seem to focus on silk hair accessories.

This heat pad has come in handy on many, many occasions both during pregnancy and postpartum. I’ve used it on myself, my dog, and my partner. I’ve used it both hot and cold.
I definitely wanted a belly band and wasn’t sure where to get one. (I refuse to shop on Amazon!) This is great, and I look forward to giving it a try and see if it gives me the support I need.
Overall Impression
This is a lovely box for third trimester. All the products are great and useful.
