Inside the Box

Cloth Basket

Unlike the backpack, I think I can find use for this. It’s pretty sturdy and a decent size and the colour is neutral and bright. It might take some effort to get it into its intended rounded shape though.

Leaf Soap Dish

This isn’t really my style, but I can actually use another soap dish as I have a lonely bar of dog soap. It’s a good size, and should fit most soap bars. It is also quite solid.

I am so sick of this candle. This is the third that I’ve received in these subscription boxes. This must be a scent that didn’t sell very well. I don’t particularly like it. This is the first time I’ve received the glass container though. I still don’t want it.

Cannanda CB2 Oil – $35

More Cannanda, which we still haven’t used yet. There is a warning against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so I guess I won’t be using this before it expires (November 2024). The hemp seed oil that we previously received expired before we got around to using it. Common experience around here.

These smell absolutely incredible. I am a huge fan of passionfruit at all times and am looking forward to using these so I can smell like this all day.

Dani Naturals is based in Oregon, USA and these products are sulfate, paraben, and phthalate free.

This is not our first bottle of Metavo, and we also have the powder that we keep forgetting to add to our smoothies. This particular bottle expires in April, so we better get on trying it out.

This product can be used in a variety of places. It can be used on the face and neck for a “natural” glow, in the hair to protect and condition, elbows, hands, nails, cuticles etc. Wherever you think you might need a nice oil. The smell is pleasant and is heavy on the rose.

Andalou Naturals is an American company from Petaluma, California.

Andalou Naturals Contour Gel – $19.99 USD

A nice little eye gel. Not sure where the contouring part comes in, but eye creams are always nice to have. However, I’ve been using the same one from Nourish Organic for about a decade and it seems to go on forever. It still smells great and seems to work.

I have so many creams now. I feel like I use them at least once a day and I still am drowning in them. This one doesn’t smell particularly nice, but maybe it won’t make me sweat like the rosewater one from The Heritage Store that I’m currently using during the day. I certainly wouldn’t purchase that one again.

Overall Impression

Overall this is a pretty good box. I actually like the basket, and I’m really looking forward to using the shampoo and conditioner. The other items are also fine, but considering what I already have in abundance, I’m not looking forward to them as much.
