Inside the Box
This month’s lesson focuses on candle magic. It touches on rituals, techniques, types of candles, creating personalized spells, and more.
These beautiful pages cover the candle colours, their meanings, and purposes, as well as practical magic for courage, career, fertility etc.
The pentacle candle is for protection. The scent is frankincense. Out of this series of candles, this is probably the one I like the most, which isn’t saying much. These candles have a whopping 90-hour burning time and are made in India.
This Witch’s Broom Candle is for cleansing and has the scent of sage. Sage is often used to cleanse things by way of smudging.
These candles are made in China with a burn time of 90-120 minutes each. There are two of each of the ten colours. Each colour has a different purpose.
Overall Impression
This is an okay box. I know it’s a lesson on candle magic, so one should expect candles. I just don’t like the big candles and their scents. The BOS pages are very pretty and the chime candles should be useful if I ever end up following any of the lessons, but overall this is not a favourite box.
