I went through (another) manic shopping phase last summer, and The OVer Company benefited from that. Among my purchased items were rompers in three colours – Lake, Philip (on sale), and Everett (factory second).
Cost: $38.00 (Lake)
My cost: $36 (it was cheaper last summer)

I like deals and not paying full price, so I got a factory second of Everett because it was only $20, and how bad could it be, really? It’s a 12-24 month size, and despite my child being 15 months now, he is small and still hasn’t worn it.
The Philip (main photo) I found really cute, and it was only $21.60 for whatever reason, so lucky me. It’s still currently on sale for $22 if you also think it’s cute. I had zero problems with it, though the zipper guard is definitely not big enough to actually contain the zipper pull. It was also the softest of the three, despite all being the same blend. My son wore it often because he looked adorable in it.
The Lake I bought so that I could match my son in the Everyday Mama Dress, which I never wore because it just looked like an unflattering sack on my body. That’s well enough because the zipper on the OVeromper broke. It’s completely immovable and I don’t have the motivation to change out the zipper as I have never done it before.

Overall Impression
Despite being made in Canada, I was not impressed enough to purchase from this company again. First off, the package smelled like stale cigarettes when it arrived, and the individual items also had a variety of bad smells. That might be a manufacturing or warehousing problem, which may or may not have been fixed by now as it has been 11 months. The zipper is the thinnest zipper that I’ve ever encountered. Its size helps it to become mostly hidden when zipped up, but comes with its own problems. The material is a cotton-spandex blend, which allows for some stretch, but nothing like the bamboo blends. I actually prefer cotton over bamboo, but it is more restrictive.
I also really like designs. Plain colours have their place, but they’re not my favourite, and The OVer Company doesn’t have a lot of patterned clothing, although that does seem to be changing. There is also a bible verse on the label, which I found odd. The washing instructions are hand wash in cold water. I never did.
