When I was new to parenthood, I was told all about the buttons vs zippers and the importance of getting a two-way zipper for those middle-of-the-night diaper changes. No one told me about ZippyJamz. They showed up in my Instagram feed, but they were expensive. I saw them in store in the clearance section, but not in my baby’s size. I finally took the plunge last June with a 15% off promo code and shopping the sale section. I snagged 7 sleepers in sizes from 3-6 all the way to 12-18 months for $125 including tax.

Overall Impression
Honestly, I love ZippyJamz, and I wish more companies would have incorporated this design. This is the only design that I have found effective when it comes to undressing the least amount for a diaper change. The two way zipper I find I have to zip all the way to the neck anyway, so really, what’s the difference? But this excellent zipper allowed my baby to finally become only partly undressed.
I personally prefer the cotton sleepers, but they now also have a bamboo collection, since it’s all the rage these days. They also have some rompers for daywear options, which I only discovered today. The designs however, don’t catch my eye. I don’t see them and think “I need that!”, whereas I have with other sleepers. They are not ugly, just kind of “Oh cute”, but not “Ohhh cuuuuuuuuute!”. That of course, is just my taste.
I also am a sucker for seemingly sincere, handwritten thank you notes, and there was a very nice one included in my order.
The Goods:
- Canadian company
- Cotton is 100% organic cotton
- Best zipper location
- Good quality grip dots on feet
The Not-So-Goods:
- Not my favourite designs
- Manufactured in China
- Relatively expensive
I highly recommend trying ZippyJamz to see if they also float your boat. They were definitely a game changer for me.
