Jack was tripping a lot in his size 4 See Kai Run shoes that were gifted to me. They didn’t seem too small, but I decided to get him a bigger pair from a local brand. Stonz has a way to measure the foot to get the size, so I ended up going 2 sizes up and bought both a 6 and 7 so that I would be ready for a growth spurt, and also to get the free shipping. Although he is a toddler, the toddler shoes don’t start till size 8.

Overall Impression
I think these shoes are great, but they are expensive. I had been looking on the secondhand market for a while, and they sit around the $30 mark, so they have a decent resale value. I couldn’t find the right size, so I decided to just buy new. These shoes are super soft and flexible, and they’re very easy to put on, which is great for learning toddlers. They also dry quite easily. My son tends to get them very wet, and they are always dry by the next morning. The size 6 is just a little bit too big for my son, so they do fall off on occasion, but he’s been tripping much less often.
The Goods:
- Soft and flexible
- Easy to put on
- Wide toe box
- Non-toxic
- Zero drop
- Breathable
- Lots of colour options
The Not-So-Goods:
- Expensive
Good for People Who:
Want a wide toe box, flexible shoe that is easy to put on and has zero drop… and can afford it!
I do recommend these shoes, and I will likely buy another pair in the future.
