Cushy Couch Cushy Critter (Triceratops)
Something that I haven’t seen other play couch companies offer is creature-themed cushions. These cushions are made with the microsuede cut offs from the couches. I think these are such a fun idea, and I wish I had the room for more.

My cost: $74 + tax ($30 off when bundled with couch, and I guess they were cheaper in August)

When looking at the Cushy Couch, I noticed these critter cushions and thought my son would love one. Though relatively expensive, I got a $30 discount by bundling one with the couch. I chose the triceratops because I once had a very special puppy named Triceratops (Cera) that jumped the fence and got hit by a car in 2020.
Just like the couch, the critter came tightly compressed in plastic.
I think these are such a fun idea. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the lack of eyes.
Overall Impression
I think the cushy critters are a great addition to any play couch, or to purchase on their own. I find it to be a very comfortable back rest when sitting on the couch. Its shape is preferable to lean on when flipped on a side, compared the taller triangular cushions that come with the couch.
My toddler enjoys sitting on it and throwing it around.
The Goods:
- CertiPUR-US Certified foam
- Fully made in Canada
- Materials sourced from Canada
- Fun solution to scraps from making the couches
- Cheaper than similar creatures I’ve seen at furniture stores
The Not-So-Goods:
- No eyes
Good for People Who:
- Want a unique cushion
Overall I would recommend these cushions to anyone who likes them.
