Inside the Box

Zyo Spearmint

We have a ton of mint in our garden, so I don’t currently need mint tea, but it’s so much easier when it’s already dried.

Mlesna Strawberry Ceylon Tea

Mlesna was started in 1983 in Sri Lanka and has won many awards.

The pictures of these teas after they’ve blossomed are absolutely beautiful. I am very much looking forward to seeing if it will even come close to what happens for us. Because we have a lovely glass teapot from Tea Runners, we can watch it blossom.

Ma-Cha Ginger Matcha Latte

We recently finally tried the vanilla almond matcha latte from Ma-Cha. Neither of us like matcha, so it wasn’t a great success. There was enough sugar in it to make it drinkable though. I wonder how the ginger will affect it. Will it be better? Will it be worse? Time will tell.

Oat bars aren’t the worst thing. I’ve never been a huge fan of granola bars, and can’t remember the last time I actually purchased on myself. I’ll eat them, but they’re never a first choice. It’s kind of crazy this tiny little bar costs $4.50, but don’t worry! It drops to $4.05 with a subscription! Who needs a subscription for oat bars? Can’t you get a whole box of much larger bars for $4.50? This bar is only slightly longer than my finger, and I have child-sized fingers.

Oatbox was established in 2014 and focuses on better, organic ingredients. Not sure what that means. They are another company from Quebec. Honestly Quebec seems to be like Canada’s hot spot of small businesses, and then Alberta is all about dog and sock subscriptions.

Also, I just read the description on the contents page and it looks like it was actually supposed to be a pack of jelly beans or jujubes and not an oat bar. I’m starting to wonder if I’m way down the list of subscribers so that I don’t always get the intended contents in a box or if it’s just random.

Bookzzi Bookmark

This is like a notecard and bookmark in one. It’s cute, and you can never have too many bookmarks. At least not in this household.

Overall Impression

T-Surprise is always a surprise. I’m looking forward to the flowering tea for its beauty if nothing else.
