Inside the Box

Litha Contents

Beautiful artwork on the back (front?) of this sabbat’s content list.

June 2024 Grimoire

This month’s grimoire is about ancestral magic and traditions. Some of the contents include ancestral healing balms, crystal grids, altars, spirit guides, and more!

Book of Shadows Pages

This sabbat’s book of shadows pages include information on the tiger eye crystal, and a spell and ritual for Litha.

Litha Air Freshener

This is a beautiful dragon air freshener to celebrate Litha. It apparently has a floral scent, but I find it mildly unpleasant. I’ve been smelling it on and off as it’s been on the dining room table for the past two months now, so I’m kind of used to it, but it’s still not a scent I’d purposely go out and buy.

There is a set of these, one for each sabbat. They are made in China with art by Anne Stokes and offered on Something Different Wholesaler in their Spirit of Equinox section.

Sun Tarot Candle

This candle is themed off of a tarot deck, with The Sun as its card. It is in a painted pink glass holder with a sticker of The Sun on one side (same graphic as the box). The candle itself contains many pieces of rose quartz with a pink grapefruit scent. It is also sourced from Something Different, but made in India.

Tarot Bag

This little bag is very soft and quite pretty. I love the colour. I believe it is for storing your tarot deck? It is made in China and sourced from Something Different.

Jar of Confidence – Tigers Eye

Tigers Eye is the stone of courage and is good to carry around if you need a little extra confidence. It has a disclaimer that this claim is metaphysical and not medical. The stones are a reminder to think positively and support you in achieving your goals through their energies.

This jar has lots of little polished tigers eye stone chips in it. I’m no expert, but it look a bit like there are bits of other stones mixed in as well. The jar also comes from Something Different, but from their Mindful Frog section.

I’m really looking forward to reading this book. It is very pretty, and it looks like it covers all the basics for understanding the wheel of the year, which is what I need!

Happiness Spell in a Box

This is such a great idea: a self-contained spell kit! The box contains three small yellow candles that fit into the small holder on the back of the box. There is also a simple spell on a card in the box. Unsurprisingly, it also comes from Something Different.

Sunflower Stickers

Some sunflower stickers to celebrate the sabbat, the season, and life in general!

Overall Impression

This was a perfect box to end our subscription with. We opened it in time to celebrate Litha, but never did because our baby babied the whole time. Maybe next year!
