Our Little Treasures Pyjamas Review

Our Little Treasures – Organic Toddler PJ set & Pocket Pal

I’m writing this way later than I intended to. It’s funny how life can get in the way, for example: a car breaking down on a Saturday night in a small town 7 hours from home while pregnant with a toddler and large dog (at least I only had one dog with me!). Thank goodness for good people. I guess this will go out on Thanksgiving, so Happy Thanksgiving, too!

The one benefit of the delay is that I’ve had even more time to use these pyjamas. They’ve now been worn and washed several times.

Overall Impression

I think these are the most thoughtfully designed children’s pyjamas that I’ve come across. The material is 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, very soft, and thick. Other brands, like Millie + Moose, that use organic cotton, use a much thinner variety that is nowhere near as soft or durable, for basically the same price. These pyjamas will last. Also I’m careless with doing my laundry, and despite me not following the instructions for best care, these are holding up very well.

This is the first time I’m seeing raglan sleeves and intentional design in the rear to make room for diapers. As someone who used bulky cloth diapers, this is extra important. I was unable to test and compare this aspect as my son hasn’t worn a diaper overnight in over 6 months. The unique design, paired with the trade-up program, make me inclined to believe that the founder is not one of the many jumping on the train of baby and toddler pyjamas to just try to make a bit of side money, but actually intentionally offering something beneficial and unique. This is in her own words:

The Trade-Up program, pieces made to last, and the pocket pals are, in my experience so far, very unique. On a side note, that Nori colour is absolutely gorgeous. Now if they could get a collab with Zippy Jamz for their zipper placement on the rompers, and some fun fabric designs, say from Lilly & Frank (who make me sad that I do not need any more diapers), they would be my ideal for babies and toddlers in every aspect. One can dream haha.

The Goods:

  • Very soft, thick fabric – rivalling the bamboo everyone’s crazy about right now, but thick
  • 100% GOTs-certified organic cotton
  • Pocket pals
  • Pre-washed
  • Eligible for trade-up
  • Iron on label – not irritating for child
  • Flat-stitched seams
  • Double seams in back make room for diapers
  • Raglan sleeves offer greater mobility

The Not-So-Goods:

  • Iron on labels do eventually fade
  • No fun patterns

Good for People Who:

  • Want their children’s clothing to last
    • Made even easier with the trade-up program
  • Like natural fibres
  • Like solid colours that can be fancied up with a pocket pal

I highly recommend these pyjamas! They are the by far the most thoughtfully designed and nicest quality pyjamas that I have come across.
